Christian mentors are people who support, engage, equip and teach another person in order to prepare them to serve in the Kingdom of Heaven. We often think about this as an adult mentoring a child or teen. However, “the older teaching the younger” also means a 75 year old guiding a 70 year old. Regardless of age, mentoring and being mentored are crucial aspects of becoming creation as the Lord intended.

Today, we are looking at the dynamic between Paul and Timothy to understand better what mentors do and why they are necessary.
