The Life-Giving Holy Spirit

There is a lot of confusion today among church people about the Holy Spirit. Some view the Spirit as a gift or promise to believers, but don’t really know what benefit the Spirit brings upon the believer. Others believe that the Holy Spirit once gave power to do miraculous things but has passed away with the deaths of the Apostles. The Holy Spirit is very prominent within the Bible appearing in 47 of the 66 books, with more than 400 mentions in the entire Bible showing how important having an understanding of who the Holy Spirit is has for Christians. Today’s lesson will focus our attention on the Holy Spirit being a Life-Giving Source.
