Kingdom Parables 4: Found Treasure

If you haven’t checked your calendar in a while, or you are just a Scrooge or something, this week is Christmas. I like Christmas time as usually, it puts into perspective what we really care about. Whether it be the gathering of the family, knowing that what you care about is that your family is together. Or maybe it’s giving people gifts! You care about seeing the faces of those whom have just received your killer gift. Or if you’re anything like me, or you are just honest with yourself, it’s getting stuff! You like the presents that are piled under the tree, especially the ones with your name on them. However, hopefully, since you are here in this worship service right now, somewhere on your list of things you care about this time of year is your faith. Specifically, your faith in Jesus; However, as we are going to see in the parables we are going to study this morning, Jesus just being on your list of priorities this time of year, is not good enough, He needs to be THE LIST.
