Walking with Wisdom 9: Relating With Wisdom

Have you ever said the perfect thing at the perfect moment? If so, please share your secret—because I can never seem to pull it off. More often than not, I think of the ideal response hours or even days too late. Worse yet, sometimes I say exactly the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time. 

Proverbs offers wisdom on how we speak, emphasizing two key points: when to speak and how to speak. When we get both right, Proverbs describes it as "an apple of gold in a setting of silver." In other words, speaking with wisdom—saying the right thing at the right time—is a masterpiece. 

This morning, we’ll explore how Proverbs teaches us to do just that.
