MTAF 1: GOD'S LOVE

I’m not much of a tech guy, but it seems like many experts are saying that the newest technology that will revolutionize the way we all live, is AI. Either that, or it will kill us all. 

This new technology that can generate humanlike conversations, compose music, generate images, and all sorts of stuff that is beyond my comprehension has made me think about what AI cannot do. What is the difference between me writing a sermon, and AI writing a sermon? What is the difference between having a conversation with a friend, or with AI? I think the answer is straight forward, AI does not have emotion. It cannot write a sermon with passion and excitement. It might try its best to replicate that, but it cannot in reality. AI can try to replicate the feeling of talking to a trusted friend, but it cannot generate the relief felt by confiding in one who loves you. 

It should come as no surprise then, that God is not AI. In fact, throughout the scriptures we see God having strong emotions towards His people, both negative and positive. In this new series, we will explore emotions, first God’s, then ours, and what the Bible has to say about them. First up: God’s Love.
